The Providence Projects offer a free comprehensive assessment to all prospective clients. The purpose of assessment is twofold. It is our opportunity to find out more about you, your problem and your current situation. From the information provided in assessment, we can ascertain that we are able to meet your requirements. It is also your opportunity to ask us any further questions you have so that you can be sure that we are the right private rehab for you.
Assessments can be carried out immediately and can be conducted either face to face or on the telephone. The assessment process usually takes around 40 minutes and if appropriate, admission can be arranged as soon as the assessment is completed.
Many prospective clients choose to conduct the assessment on the telephone to save time and travelling. If you come to the centre for the assessment, we will also give you a tour of the facilities.
During the assessment, we would look to gather information on your alcohol and/or substance misuse history, your current social situation, your family history, your physical health, your mental health, any previous rehab experiences and most importantly what you want from treatment. Our assessor is also there to answer any questions you have about the rehab programme works, what you can expect and any questions you have about rehab.
At the end of the assessment there are two possible outcomes. Hopefully, you will be suitable for treatment at The Providence Projects and it will the rehab facility you choose. If that is the case, we will simply arrange an admission date which is suitable for you. Unfortunately, in some instances, we may not be the right rehab for you. If this is the case we will be able to recommend other programmes which might be more suitable.

However, on the basis that the assessment went well, we then look to arrange an admission date that is suitable for you.
