Addiction is a complex disease and effective treatment requires a rehab programme that works to address the underlying causes of drug and alcohol addiction, such as trauma, PTSD, grief or co-occurring disorders such as depression, while simultaneously helping individuals to overcome their physical dependence on drugs or alcohol.
For 25 years the Providence Projects have been successfully treating thousands of individuals and their families, helping them heal collectively from the pain of drug and alcohol addiction, many of whom arrived here from West Sussex and had either attempted rehab previously and relapsed, or needed an effective first-time treatment.

Upon Arrival at our Addiction Treatment Facility from West Sussex
Your stay with us will start with a warm welcome from our counselling team. As you are guided through the induction to our centre, our team will introduce you to the other residents and show you to your private room.
Before treatment begins, our medical team will discuss the options available to you for treatment and design a treatment programme around you as an individual. They will discuss your goals during rehab and familiarise you with the programme.
A medical assessment will need to be carried out by our in-house GP, to check your general health, discuss any medications that are currently prescribed and assess your drug or alcohol dependence. Our GP may decide that detox is required and provide detox medication to help reduce difficult withdrawal symptoms that may arise.
Detox can feel uncomfortable, but our team of medical professionals will ensure that you or your loved one are kept safe during the detox phase. All drug addiction treamtment and alcohol addiction treatment programmes provided at The Providence Projects, are managed by highly skilled healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure safety.
