Arriving for Treatment from Buckinghamshire

You will be greeted by our counselling team who will work with you and tailor a rehabilitation programme that will address your personal needs. Our team are also very happy to answer any questions you may have, go through the rehabilitation process and finish up any paperwork that needs to be done with you.
This induction will also involve a full medical assessment to check your general health, take note of any current medicines that need to be administered as well as any medications that may be needed should you require a detox. A full medically assisted detox supervised and monitored by our in-house GP is included if required for clients receiving drug addiction treatment or alcohol addiction treatment.
Throughout this time you will be fully supported medically, emotionally and mentally as your body gets used to not having the addictive substance to rely on.

The rehab phase will continue after your detox programme. Our team will work with you through different interventions to help you address and resolve issues such as self-esteem, stress management, childhood trauma, family issues. Since addiction treatment can be very overwhelming we have also included fun activities like nature walks, beach trips, creative music and art therapy classes so that your stay with us is not just healing, it is also enjoyable.
Our therapy team will be responsible for structuring the rehabilitation programme as well as conducting one to one counselling sessions using evidence-based therapy styles such as:

We will offer you the opportunity to use our Cognitive Behavioural Therapy specialists’ experience and knowledge for your future benefit. CBT is a therapy which allows our clients to re-learn coping mechanisms and understand how their internal communicates with the external environment.
Alternative Therapies
Holistic therapies, such as music therapy, are non-traditional methods to rehabilitate from previous traumatic experiences, as well as rediscover personal benefits from different ways to express stress, anger and sadness.

Preventing an Alcohol/Drug Relapse in Buckinghamshire
Once your treatment is nearing completion, our therapy team will start focusing on your reintegration to ensure a smooth transition between rehab and home.
This reintegration preparation will also include referrals to private therapists and support groups in Buckinghamshire to continue your recovery, you will be given the tools and guides on how to handle stressors and triggers as well as an assurance that you will continue to have access to our programmes in aftercare, these include continued 1 to 1 counselling, skype counselling, group therapy, family therapy or life coaching services provided through our Sober Management.

Free or NHS Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services in Buckinghamshire
