Rehab Reviews

According to 2021 data for Devon, drug-related deaths are at the highest since records began, with Exeter seeing the biggest spike.
Office for National Statistics (ONS) has revealed new figures which demonstrate that across Devon, drug poisoning deaths last year reached 64 in Devon, 8 more than in 2018 and 11 more than in 2017.
Hospital admissions for drug and alcohol misuse have been going up in the past couple of years, with the pandemic affecting access to treatment for many. Hence, local authorities are looking into more options to help the members of their communities.
Addiction awareness programmes are multiplying, and information is dispersed more and more with each new year. However, Devon remains an area with serious misuse problems.

Sober Transportation from Devon to The Providence Projects

Many patients have fears about rehab so we have designed our Sober Transportation service to give you and your loved ones peace of mind that your journey will be comfortable and that you will arrive safely to be admitted into our rehab centre.

You will receive support and guidance from someone in recovery, who will make your journey more comfortable.

Arriving for Treatment from Devon

When you arrive, you will meet our friendly team who will take you through an induction programme, where you will meet other clients and see your room. Your state of health will be assessed by our resident GP.

A physical and mental health examination will be performed, and any detox medication will be finalised as part of your treatment plan. Please note, however, that medication is not provided for all detoxes – it is only suitable for certain cases. This is decided at the assessment stage.

Following your induction, a member of our team will work closely with you to create your individual care plan, detailing all the therapies, workshops and activities that you will do to complete your programme. A daily timetable is provided to help you plan for the sessions every day.

Our Drug and Alcohol Addiction Rehab Programmes

Our rehab programme has two goals: to unearth and address the psychological and emotional causes that contributed to your dependency, and to create a long term strategy that enables long term sobriety. If required, we provide a medically-managed detox programme to help you withdrawal from drugs or alcohol safely.
