This treatment plan will include a variety of therapies, activities and workshops and a structured timetable will be provided for you.
Our in-house GP will conduct a full medical assessment, to check your general health, discuss any current health concerns and medications, and assess what if any medications you may require during detox and your stay.
For some of our clients, the first stage of treatment involves a medically-assisted detox, this will be done by Providence Surgery and monitored by our in-house GP and the exceptional staff who will be on hand 24/7 to assist you with your withdrawal and keep you as comfortable as possible. The doctor will taper the medications used over the detox period, typically 7-14 days.

NHS & Free Services
We understand not everyone can afford residential treatment, and some people find outpatient services in Hertfordshire useful and are less costly than inpatient care.
Outpatient addiction services in Hertfordshire provide treatment for those who struggle with alcohol or substance abuse, without the need for putting life commitments on hold. Outpatient addiction treatment allows individuals to seek treatment during the day, or around work and family commitments.
An example of outpatient addiction treatment is private counselling with a qualified BACP therapist. There are many addiction counsellors in Hertfordshire, a list of them can be found here.

CGL, a charity offering drug and alcohol recovery services can be contacted here.
There are also support groups such as AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) or NA (Narcotics Anonymous) that we strongly recommend regardless of the type of treatment you or a loved one pursue.
