Arriving for Treatment from Southampton

As you arrive you will be introduced to our friendly staff, before you are taken to the room you will be staying in during your programme. Our general practitioner will do a medical assessment of your state of health.

We use this session to hear about your concerns, examine your physical and mental wellbeing and inform you of the medications that may be required for detox. After this induction, we will work with you to develop an individual care plan that details the activities, therapies and workshops that will be integrated into your programme.

A timetable will be provided, so you know what will happen each day. You will find all the items discussed during the assessments and the admission process within it.

Our Drug and Alcohol Addiction Rehab Programmes

Our rehab programme has two primary intentions: to find and heal the psychological causes of your dependency, and to develop the coping strategies you need for long term sobriety. The development of an individual care plan is a collaboration between yourself and our support team. Working together is essential to achieve your goals and overcome the issues identified for therapy.

Our addiction treatment programme comprises of:

One-to-one counselling

One-to-one therapy sessions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, will be facilitated by a qualified addiction specialist. The therapist will assist you in identifying any trauma, relationship problems, negative childhood experiences and abuse that have influenced your substance use disorder.

Alternative Therapies

Alternative therapies like music therapy, art therapy, acupuncture and sports therapy that are fun and facilitate relaxation and fulfilment.

Group Therapy and 12 Step Programmes.

Therapy delivered through group sessions, an invaluable part of recovery, which provides you with a social structure and companionship.

Relapse Prevention Programme

Workshops to help you build coping skills and set goals for your sober future. Common topics explored as workshops include relationships, stress management, relapse prevention, confidence, health, boundaries and anger.

Preventing an Alcohol/Drug Relapse in Southampton

Our Relapse Prevention programme is there to support you through the reintegration stage when you go home and confront potential triggers in your new environment, by giving you the tools to deal with high-risk situations and making the transition smoother. When you leave the rehab centre to go home, we can support you with different aftercare services that facilitate your long term recovery. We will create an aftercare program that supports your long term recovery & personal needs. We have found that the best time to develop an aftercare plan is close to the end of primary treatment, when we will liaise with you and the team.

Sober Coaching & Recovery Coaching in Southampton

Our sober coaching service provides an extra layer of protection for those completing our treatment plan, and provides additional support for when you go home.
