Providence Projects began with a vision. After overcoming a 30-year struggle with addiction, Steve Spiegel recognised the need for a treatment programme that didn’t just focus on short-term recovery but prepared individuals for lasting change.
Drawing from both his personal and professional experience as a counsellor, Steve dreamed of creating a centre that bridged the gap between treatment and long-term success.
By chance, Steve met Dr Peter Turnbull, one of the UK’s leading addiction specialists. Sharing a deep commitment to evidence-based care and a holistic approach to recovery, their collaboration gave life to Providence Projects—a centre that has since helped over 10,000 people reclaim their lives.

Nobody wants to go to rehab right? Especially not again but I can honestly say that from the moment I arrived at the provi I just knew it was going to be ok. I fell into the Provvy in Jan 2013. My life had no direction, it was very dark & I had no hope left. My whole being revolved around alcohol.

Went into the Provy a drunk, was at my lowest, depressed, crap mother, a shell of the person I once was. I was so welcomed straight away by all the amazing staff and peers. My daughter went to Provy in August 2022 and left there six weeks later. I just knew when searching rehabs that this was the one.
